Soil, wood, tiles, cement, lamps, water irrigation system.

We re-located a part of a “grid” shaped garden into the room that looked out upon the garden. This room was located on the 3rd floor of an empty nursing home where we build a 3 m. x 1,5 m. container that camouflaged with the tiled walls, filled it with soil, and by instilling a rain watering installation indoors influenced the plants to flourish before the natural arrival of spring outside.

This work is about the influence of a context. Researching the role of a context in terms of influencing, literally giving form in the same way a mould does. This project triggered us to think about the way our interference influenced the other inhabitants of the building and garden, being confronted by initiating a chain reaction.
