With “Re-Asseble Expectations” we reacted on those broken pieces, freezing the moment of explosion by showcasing them around hand carved wooden pillars. Working with the wood, carving around the given factor of the shapes the explosion created, we emphasise the naturally created chucks of ceramics rather than the manmade craftsmanship supporting them,

Re-Assemble Expectations, is repurposing materials from a previous work: "Assemble Expectations". During that former installation, ceramic pot’s exploded due to the gas build up from fermentation. The explosion created random shapes of broken ceramics which we documented, collected and saved.
